# MailAPI

> MailAPI (mailapi.tech) is a developer-first email infrastructure platform for programmatic domain setup, mailbox provisioning, bulk email workflows, and inbox automation. Provision custom domains and mailboxes via REST API or dashboard, receive inbound mail through webhooks or IMAP polling, and integrate with standard SMTP/IMAP sending stacks.

MailAPI targets startups, GTM teams, and SaaS builders who need scalable mailbox API operations without enterprise mail-server complexity. US-hosted infrastructure. API keys use Bearer or X-Api-Key authentication with scoped permissions (`read`, `write`, `inbound`, `webhook`).
